“This gripping crime melodrama is distinguished by expressionist lighting, sophisticated transitions, and fluid camerawork.” (Stummfilmtage Bonn). Despite these qualities, the film relies on stereotypical portrayals of women, which will be explored in an introductory talk.
Please reserve your tickets through the Filmmuseum Potsdam’s schedule.
