ZeM Reading Colloquium “Platformatizations”
The ZeM would like to take its annual focus on “Platformatizations” as an opportunity to discuss relevant texts on the topic. On three dates in the summer semester, different theoretical and conceptual foundations and approaches will be explored. A continuation is planned for the winter semester, which will also focus on historical perspectives and comparisons. Everyone interested is cordially invited to participate.
We will conclude the colloquium on Friday, July 4, 14:00-16:00 with the following reading:
- Jean-Christophe Plantin et al.: “Infrastructure studies meet platform studies in the age of Google and Facebook”. In: New Media & Society 20/1 (2018), pp. 293-310.
You can register for the event at and get access to the texts if required.
An event as part of the ZeM’s annual focus “Platformatizations”.
