Bio

Lucia Wiedergrün has been employed since July 2022 as a research associate at the Chair for Popular Culture at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder).
Prior to this she studied History and Film Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and subsequently held a PhD scholarship in the Advanced Studies Centre “Cinepoetics. Poetologien audiovisueller Bilder” at the Freie Universität Berlin.
She is currently working on a dissertation concerning futurity and temporal reflection in contemporary European cinema.
