Bio
Norah El Gammal studied Comparative Literature, French Studies, English Studies and Sociocultural Studies at Saarland University, Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris-IV) and the European University Viadrina. She is a PhD candidate, research assistant and lecturer at the Chair of Western European Literatures at the European-University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) since 2024. Her PhD project focuses on Franco- and Anglophone Caribbean auto-/biographies which she examines through the lens of archival theories.
