Prof. Søren Bro Pold, PhD, is Associate Professor of Digital Aesthetics at Digital Design, University of Aarhus, Denmark, part of PIT and founding member of DARC (Digital Aesthetics Research Center). He has published on various topics and genres within digital and media aesthetics with a focus on interface criticism, including electronic literature, net art, software art, urban and mobile interfaces and controlled consumption. Among his publications is as editor (with Christian Ulrik Andersen) Interface Criticism. Aesthetics Beyond Buttons (Aarhus u.a.: Aarhus University Press 2011).

Christian Ulrik Andersen is Associate Professor, director of Digital Arts Initiative, and part of the Center for Participatory Information Technologies at Aarhus University, Denmark. His research addresses the aesthetics of digital culture and argues for an interface criticism of the relations between technological developments, human subjectivity, and cultural superstructures. This includes diverse aspects of an interface culture industry that encompasses urban environments, games, literature, academic publishing as well as other stuff. He is also the co-editor of a series of peer-reviewed newspapers published in collaboration with transmediale (Berlin) and the journal A Peer-reviewed Journal About, aprja.net (with Geoff Cox).
